Motor winding quick drying method

When servicing the coil of a motor, drying in a drying room is generally required. When there is no drying box, we often use a high-power light bulb for drying, or put it on a coal fired stove for drying.

In the long-term maintenance practice, the author explored a method. It is self-drying with a 220 volt power supply. This method must be safe. The method is as follows: Generally, a single motor has three outlets after winding a good line, that is, the middle line, the operation line, and the start line. During drying, use only two wires, 'Run' and 'Start', to connect a plug, place the wire pack on a flat surface of an insulator, lay a sheet of paper under it, and then insert the plug at 220 volts. Centerline power outlet. Pull out the plug about a minute or so, and repeat this several times. When the temperature of the coil reaches 100 degrees, the coil can be painted with insulating paint. After brushing and heating with the same method, the middle of the stator should be constantly turned, usually three times. When the paint on the coil reaches 6 to 70%, the motor can be cleaned and the machine can be installed for a short time. Although the motor coil has not been dried to 10%, it can be dried by using its own heat when it is working. This method is generally suitable for electrical appliances that operate in a dry environment.
