During the “Eleventh Five-Year Plan” period, the China Rubber Association will use technological innovation as the main melody, and on the basis of promoting existing advanced technologies, encourage companies to continue to focus on independent innovation and actively develop new environmentally friendly and safe products based on market changes. New equipment and new technologies to expand the circular economy of the rubber industry.

Development presents three major features

According to Fan Rende, the current development of the rubber industry in China presents three major features: First, China has become the world's largest rubber consumer nation for four consecutive years, and the output of tires and other major products ranks among the highest in the world. Second, the contradiction between the supply and demand of rubber resources in China is becoming increasingly acute. The annual gap in rubber raw materials is more than 50%. The realization of recycling of rubber resources is the best way to save energy. Third, China is one of the world's largest producers of used rubber, and the use of scrap rubber is increasingly severe. It is predicted that by 2020, the amount of waste rubber produced in China will reach more than 6 million tons. If the current utilization structure is not changed, the situation will become more severe, and the problem of waste rubber products polluting the environment will become more prominent.

Therefore, the implementation of recycling economy is an inevitable choice for the development of the rubber industry, and it is a consistent practice. According to the principle of “reduction, reuse, and recycling” of the circular economy, combined with the status quo of the rubber industry in China, the focus should be on the recycling of used rubber products to reduce the amount of used rubber products; and to vigorously promote tire retreading and powder manufacturing. The application will adjust the structure of used rubber and improve the utilization of waste rubber resources.

Promote new technologies and promote industrial upgrading

According to Fan Rende, the China Rubber Association has adopted the tire and waste rubber comprehensive utilization industry as a pilot industry for the circular economy of the rubber industry, and has repeatedly advocated the industry to proceed from scientific development and technological progress, continuously upgrade its own core technology, and vigorously develop safety and environmental protection. Energy-saving green rubber products; strengthen communication and collaboration among industries, and jointly improve the recycling industry chain of the rubber industry to promote the gradual deepening of the circular economy. The specific measures are:

First of all, continue to focus on the production, development and utilization of reclaimed rubber and rubber powder. The new process technology of waste rubber dynamic desulfurization is a major change in the technical field of reclaimed rubber production in China. At present, more than 90% of domestic reclaimed rubber production enterprises have adopted dynamic desulfurization technology. However, the hydrogen sulfide and tail gas emissions during the desulfurization process will cause secondary pollution. In 2002, Jiangxi Guoyan developed a physical reclaimed rubber tail gas treatment device so that no benzene series was emitted during the production of reclaimed rubber, and the hydrogen sulfide emission was one ten-thousandth of the national standard. At present, reclaimed rubber enterprises with an annual output of 5,000 tons or more basically use physical or biological methods to treat exhaust gas, effectively solving the problem of secondary pollution. Turbine City Star Rubber Industry and Trade Co., Ltd. develops a special activator WR-510 for the production of reclaimed rubber, which has been widely used in the production of reclaimed rubber.

In the production of rubber powder, the normal temperature grinding method is mainly promoted. The low-cost normal-temperature crushing method is used for industrial production, so that the average particle size of the rubber powder reaches 60-150 mesh, and the product is applied to the fields of rubber products, waterproof membranes, waterproof building materials, and road-modified asphalt. This kind of technology has low cost, convenient operation, small investment scale, strong applicability and remarkable economic benefit, and is suitable for China's national conditions. Today, companies such as Jiangyin Tailian, Zhejiang Luhuan, Dalian Sanchao, Sichuan Yaxi, Sichuan Leshan Yalian, Sichuan Shuangliu Tianlimin, and Changzhou Sanjiu have successively developed distinctive rubber powder crushing machines. Promote the development of reclaimed rubber and rubber powder industry.

Second, develop energy-saving, environmental protection, and safety tires to give full play to the leading role of the tire industry. To speed up the development of new products such as green additives and special carbon blacks, take the green raw material route; open source and reduce expenditure, pay attention to energy saving and environmental protection in the production process, and make full use of resources; develop tire retreading processes and special equipment, and precured treads and middle cushions , To replace the import, improve the tire renovation rate; carry out deep processing of reclaimed rubber and powder and open up its market to achieve effective use of waste tires and maximize the use of rubber resources. For example, nitrogen vulcanization has high production efficiency, energy conservation, and low production cost. The semi-steel tires of the world's largest tire manufacturers are basically cured with nitrogen, and 30% to 40% of the tires are used. At present, domestic large tire companies have also begun to vigorously promote nitrogen vapour service and light duty radial tires.

Again, tire companies are encouraged to enter the retreading industry. The tire retread rate in China is still relatively low. Therefore, it is necessary to take the tires and tires manufacturing enterprises with strong technical strength as the leader to accelerate the technical progress of tire retreading. At present, Tire, South China and other tire companies have begun to intervene in tire retreading, for the industry to open a good start.

Innovate to Drive Industry Adjustment

Fan Rende said that the real need for industry development depends on new technologies, new equipment, and strong companies with innovative capabilities and production bases.

Fan Rende said that under the ideology of supporting excellent people and strong support, China Rubber Association will focus on supporting large-scale waste rubber comprehensive utilization enterprises that can scale production, can carry out follow-up product processing, and attach great importance to environmental protection issues of enterprises. Through quality credit granting and name brand cultivation, the company will drive the investment in technology and equipment transformation and innovation. For Jiangsu, Sichuan, Hebei, Shanxi, Shandong and other enterprises with relatively concentrated production, sales, and development of waste rubber comprehensive utilization of distribution center, can be combined, reorganization and other methods. Such as small enterprises to produce plastic powder, concentrated supply to the relatively strong companies to produce reclaimed rubber. At the same time, the China Rubber Association will also build an industrial base for the comprehensive utilization of waste rubber. Under the promotion of technology and equipment innovations from well-known enterprises and industrial bases, it will appropriately adjust the industrial chain structure and promote the development of a recycling economy in the rubber industry.
