A few days ago, the first-phase project for the development of a quality potassium feldspar mine with proven reserves of 150 million tons was started in Yuexi County. As a provincial "861" key project and provincial key construction project, it has been listed in the "Twelfth Five-Year Plan" technology support plan of the Ministry of Science and Technology.
The mine is located in the territory of Wenquan Town, Yuexi County. It plans to invest 3 billion yuan in three phases in five years to develop the three deep processing industries of potash feldspar refined powder, ceramic melting brick and glass-ceramics. In addition to the production of special ceramics and glass, the implementation of this project will also effectively alleviate the shortage of potassium fertilizer in our province.
