Acura Launches New Vehicle RSX Based on Civic

Acura Launches New Vehicle RSX Based on Civic On August 10, 2011, Japan’s Acura Automotive decided to launch a new RSX based on Civic. Other brands of auto companies advocate the use of large, high-power engines to attract customers, while Acura advocates focusing on economic factors such as the market.

Acura Vice President Jeff Conrad said that in order to compete with the BMW 1 Series, Audi A3 and Lexus CT 200h, the company is considering launching a smaller car. The report shows that this car will be named RSX, and there are two models of cars and coupe.

The design of the new-generation RSX front-wheel drive platform is clearly based on the new 2012 Honda snow domain. The car will enter the market in the spring of 2013. As for the engine, the new Snow Si 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine will be adopted. In addition, relying on Honda's technology, the hybrid version of the TL sedan and the MDX crossover will also be introduced.

It is reported that Honda Accord will stop production after its current model reaches the end of its production cycle. The TL model will replace the Accord production.
