Intelligent electromagnetic flowmeter failure and solution

Electromagnetic flowmeters have high stability, and the instrumentation equipment itself rarely fails. However, due to changes in environmental conditions or conditions of installation conditions, some problems or malfunctions have occurred, which should be solved or avoided, mainly in the following cases:
1 The installation condition of the flowmeter is not satisfied, and the electromagnetic flowmeter has high requirements for the straight pipe section of the pipeline. It can be satisfied as much as possible in the design of the new water plant, and the above conditions become almost harsh for the renovation or installation of the old water plant. . This affects the measurement stability. The solution is to add a rectifier to improve flow characteristics.
2 The flow rate of the measured water is too low, which affects the accuracy of the measurement. Especially in the flowmeters installed at some regional boundaries, the flow rate is too low due to the small pressure difference due to the tip of the regional company's pipe network. The solution is to open the valves on both sides of the boundary as much as possible.
3 There is gas in the pipeline water, which causes the measurement fluctuation to greatly affect the stability. The solution is to find a source of gas and solve it, and if necessary, install an exhaust valve in the pipeline.
4 The surface of the sensor electrode installed in the raw water pipeline is contaminated by sludge deposits, which affects the measurement. The solution is to use a knife electrode and perform regular maintenance cleaning.
5 Lightning strikes caused damage to the converter of the electromagnetic flowmeter, making it impossible to measure. The solution is to install a corresponding lightning arrester at the input end of the converter signal, the input end of the excitation current and the working power supply end.
6 Electromagnetic flowmeter The accumulation of foreign matter in the population pipeline causes a sudden change in the flow characteristics of the measured water body, which affects the measurement accuracy and causes a large error. The solution is to remove foreign matter accumulated in the pipeline in time.
