X-ray security equipment application problems and management measures

At present, the use of X-ray security equipment has the following problems:

(2) Performance indicator issues. The performance indicators of X-ray security equipment are closely related to the imaging quality, and there are correlations and constraints between the indicators. Increasing one indicator alone will affect other indicators, resulting in unbalanced performance parameters.

(3) The security check speed is not up to standard. Metro passengers have a large flow of people. In order to obtain better image quality, it may speed up or reduce the transmission speed of products, which will increase the false negative rate and false positive rate, thus creating a safety hazard.

Management measures

(1) Strictly control equipment quality

Metro operators should issue reports from third-party testing agencies when purchasing X-ray security equipment. The procurement process should analyze the actual needs of the security inspection work, carry out the certification and inspection work in strict accordance with the standard specifications, and test the performance indicators in the operation to ensure the quality of the equipment from the source.

(2) Regular inspection and maintenance

X-ray security equipment is subject to environmental factors during use and is prone to failure problems. In this regard, the maintenance should be checked regularly, usually one full inspection in half a year or one year, and one radiation inspection in one week. Specific inspection items include resolution, penetrating power, single-check dose, item over-speed, safety protection function, and insulation resistance of the equipment casing.

(3) Strengthen supervision and management

In combination with the operational characteristics of rail transit, a scientific and sound management system is prepared for the use of X-ray security inspection equipment, and in particular, supervision should be strengthened to ensure that management measures are implemented. For the production business, the relevant departments should regularly check and randomly check the quality problems and solve them in time to ensure the performance quality of the equipment.
