Before operating an air plasma cutting machine (including compressed air), each person operating, maintaining, or supervising the equipment must carefully read the following safety instructions.
1. Prevention of Hazardous Smoke In order to prevent the harmful effects of harmful smoke on the body during cutting, the following must be observed:
● Keep the cutting site well-ventilated;
● If cutting old containers or plates, remove residual chlorides and other chemical residues to prevent harmful gases during cutting;
● When cutting galvanized metal, pay special attention to ventilation, and use breathing masks if possible;
● Warning! If cutting metal or painted metal containing zinc, lead, cadmium, or tellurium, be sure to wear respiratory equipment and ensure good ventilation.
2. The fire air plasma arc cutting machine can generate sparks and slag when cutting, and must take the following measures to prevent fire:
● There should be fire extinguishing devices at the cutting site;
● No combustible material shall be present within a distance of 10 meters from the cutting site;
● The hot metal material that has just been cut off has not been cooled and must not be transported;
● Do not cut metal materials or containers that may cause explosion or burning of material.
3, to prevent electric shock air plasma arc cutting machine output no-load high-voltage voltage (DC 240V or more), when operating the equipment, you must take the following measures:
● Keep body and clothing dry;
● Avoid direct contact with any wet surfaces, wear insulated gloves, and wear insulated rubber soles;
● Comply with the electricity regulations, select a power line diameter and a suitable model that are large enough, properly connect the power supply lines, and pay special attention to the reliable connection of the safety ground wire;
● Always check whether the power line and torch lead are damaged. If any abnormality occurs, replace it in time.
● It is strictly forbidden to repair equipment or replace consumable parts with live power.
4, to prevent explosion ● must not use LGK8 type argon, hydrogen gas mixture to prevent outside;
● When using and transporting compressed gas, be sure to observe the relevant safety regulations to prevent accidents other than release;
● Do not cut in an atmosphere containing explosive dust or gas;
● Do not allow to seal containers or metals that are enclosed or that may cause explosions;
● Cutting metal materials directly on the concrete floor may cause explosions. Fire-fighting sprays should be used to cause burns.
● Correct use of pressure regulators:
- Keep all pressure regulators in normal operation. Faulty pressure regulators must not be used. - Never use excessively leaky or damaged pressure regulators.
● The trachea used to supply the gas to this equipment must comply with the following regulations:
- It is recommended to distinguish the various gas supply lines with the relevant specified colors to avoid mixing; - To regularly inspect the gas pipe, there must be no leakage, wear, looseness, etc.; - Keep the gas pipe to the shortest length, reduce the pressure drop and prevent the limit Big flow.
5. Grounding ● Be sure to connect the safety ground wire on the device shell to prevent personal safety accidents.
● The cutting table and workpiece must be connected to a safety ground wire.
6. Others ● It is forbidden to place any objects and tools on the air plasma arc cutting machine;
● To prevent air plasma arc cutting machine from being impacted or shaken, the outdoor air plasma arc cutting machine must have rain protection facilities;
● It is forbidden to use the tip of the cutting torch and the flat surface to remove the blockage of the contact nozzle.
● When working or leaving the workplace, you must cut off the power and air supply. ?
