Working fire in Chicago, 6-23-17

On Thursday afternoon, June 23rd, a small fire broke out at the 24th Battalion located at 11006 S. Green Bay Road. Even though I knew the fire would be under control long before I arrived, I still made the trip to capture some photos of the rigs that don’t often respond to calls.

It's always interesting to see these specialized units in action, even if it's just for a short time. These photos give a nice glimpse into the daily operations and equipment used by the Chicago Fire Department.
