Interdivisional Box Alarm and Haz Mat in Park Forest, 5-16-17

On Monday, May 16, 2017, a significant incident occurred at Star Disposal Service located at 20 South Street in Park Forest. The scene featured an Interdivisional Box alongside a Haz Mat Box as emergency crews responded to the call. Tim Olk captured several powerful images documenting the event. The photos show a HME fire truck on the scene, along with a Matteson Fire Department tower ladder being deployed. Park Forest Fire Department Engine 56 was also seen actively involved in the response. An end loader was observed clearing debris after the fire, while another front-end loader was found damaged from the blaze. Firefighters were seen using hose lines to mop up hot spots and control the remaining flames. These images give a clear view of the efforts made by first responders to contain the situation and prevent further damage.
