Short path distillation is a special type of thin film distillation technology, where even lower working pressures and therefore even lower boiling temperatures can be achieved.
Design
Unlike traditional wiped film evaporator designs, the condenser is located inside the short path evaporator body. This unique configuration allows for a more efficient and compact system, ideal for applications requiring high vacuum and precise temperature control.
Operation
Feed liquid is introduced into the still under high vacuum, immediately spread into a very thin film and forced quickly down the evaporation surface. Heated walls and high vacuum drive the more volatile components (distillate) to the external condenser while the less volatile components (residue) continue down the cylinder. The resulting fractions are then separated and exit through individual discharge outlets. Depending on the application, the desired product may be either the distillate or the residue fraction. Small amounts of condensable low molecular weight compounds collect in a cold trap upstream of the vacuum system. For high solvent loads, an optional external condenser can be installed downstream of the still.

Continuous distillation process.
Very low operating pressures up to 0.1 Pa (100 Pa = 1 mbar). (The significantly lower pressure in the short path evaporator is achieved by the short distance for the vapors traveling from the evaporator surface to the condenser.)
These low pressures ensure very low distillation temperatures, making it ideal for heat-sensitive materials.
Short residence time. (Thanks to this, along with the low evaporation temperature and immediate cooling of the concentrate, thermal stress and decomposition of the product can be minimized.)

1. Could you do design for us?
Yes, we can do artwork including printing, logo, etc., for you if you provide us with the content and tell us where to place it. Just let us know how to proceed in detail.
2. How can we place order?
After we make an agreement on the products and price, we will prepare a Proforma Invoice for your confirmation. Once we receive your payment (deposit), we will prepare and ship the goods within 5 working days generally. If you have your own shipping forwarder, we can use it for delivery. If not, once the goods arrive at the destination port, you must find a shipping forwarder to help clear customs.
3. What's your payment term?
100% T/T in advance. Western Union. Small amount payments can be made via PayPal or Escrow. Please confirm everything clearly before making any payment.
4. How about the shipping?
For small orders, we will send the goods via international express like FEDEX, DHL, TNT, or UPS. It usually takes 3–7 working days to arrive. For larger quantities, we ship by ocean transportation, which takes about one month. If urgent, air shipping is available but at a higher cost.
