1. General Introduction
The ISO17357:2014 compliant floating pneumatic rubber fender is a critical anti-collision device used in marine applications worldwide. It is constructed from synthetic-cord-reinforced rubber sheets filled with compressed air, allowing it to float on the water surface and act as an effective shock absorber during ship-to-ship transfers, ship-to-dock berthing, and mooring operations.
Evergreen's floating pneumatic rubber fenders fully meet the requirements of the ISO17357:2002 standard. Our products are certified by CCS, DNV, GL, LR, and BV, ensuring quality and safety compliance across international markets.
2. Construction Features
The floating pneumatic rubber fender consists of multiple layers, including outer rubber, synthetic tire cord, and inner layers. These components are vulcanized together and then inflated with compressed air to ensure buoyancy and functionality. For reference, please see the image below.
