1. Working Principle

The marine twin screw pump is designed with a robust structure that includes the pump body, driving and driven screws, shaft seals, bearing housing, synchronous gears, and safety valves (refer to the schematic diagram). The driving and driven screws feature rectangular threads on opposite sides, allowing for smooth rotation without any central thread. A small gap between the pump body and the screws ensures self-priming capability, while the interlocking of the screw teeth enables efficient fluid movement.
