BAK Battery Receives New Contract for Chery Electric Vehicle Lithium Battery

China BAK Battery, Inc. announced that it has won a new contract with Chery Automobile Co., which will supply high-power lithium-ion batteries to Chery Ruilin M1.

According to the new contract, BAK Battery Tianjin Plant will deliver 100 sets of high-power lithium-ion batteries to Chery at the end of June 2012.

At the 25th World Electric Vehicle Conference and Exhibition held in November 2010, Chery released the lithium-electric electric vehicle Ruilin M1. As early as in 2010, BAK Battery had obtained the Chery Automobile Company contract to supply the Ruilin M1 with a high-power lithium-ion battery pack.
