WISCO Jinzi cooperates with Wuchuan Heavy Industry

Recently, WISCO Gold Co., Ltd. and Wuchang Shipbuilding Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. signed a scrap steel direct supply cooperation agreement. Since then, the scrap resources generated by the Wushu Shuangliu production base will be purchased by the Taizhou branch of the gold company for direct use by WISCO. This is the first cooperation between the two companies in the direct supply project of scrap resources.
Wuchuan Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. is a backbone enterprise of national ship design and manufacture. Its corners and residual materials cut during the process of casting steel bridges have strong quality advantages and are the high-quality charge materials urgently needed for WISCO smelting high value-added steel.
Previously, such high-quality scrap directly flowed into the society, and after several turns, it only partially entered WISCO. The signing of the scrap direct supply agreement directly reduced the intermediate links of scrap supply, creating conditions for timely supply of high-quality scrap steel and effective reduction of procurement costs. At the same time, it has also broadened the company's scrap procurement channels and strengthened its control over high-quality scrap resources.
It is reported that Wuchuan Heavy Industry has a number of production bases, of which Shuangliu Base produces about 15,000 tons of low-sulfur scrap in the annual production process . Wuchuan Heavy Industry said that it will further enhance communication and ties with WISCO Gold Assets Co., Ltd. and establish a long-term cooperative relationship of mutual benefit.
