Held in Xiamen, Fujian on October 15-16.

The seminar was organized by the United Nations Rubber Tire Quality Supervision and Inspection Center of the Automotive Services Division of China National Standard Technology Corporation. The conference includes: Chinese and foreign automotive tire recall system; analysis of China auto tire recall case and recall management; tire safety standards, EU, the United States, and other framework characteristics; common tire quality problems in China and its causes.

According to the organizers, the tires, as an important safety component of automobiles, may cause traffic accidents and casualties in the event of a breakdown. Developed countries have already incorporated tires as an important automotive component into the category of motor vehicle safety supervision. China has formally implemented the "Defective Automobile Product Recall Management Regulations," which clearly stipulates that tires should be included in the scope of recall supervision and require tire companies to undertake the recall obligations of defective tire products.
