Development and application of field-level multiband infrared imaging spectrometer passed review

[China Instrument Network Instrument R&D] On April 10th, the National Major Scientific Instruments Special Project "Development and Application of Field-level Multiband Infrared Imaging Spectrometer" undertaken by Hubei Jiuzhiyang Infrared Systems Co., Ltd. passed the first group in 2017 (General Group, Expert committee, supervision team, user committee) meeting review.

This project was organized and implemented by CSSC Heavy Industries Group and was undertaken by Jiuzhiyang. In August of last year, it stood out from the 29 review projects, or obtained the excellent evaluation of technical high score and comprehensive grade A, and successfully passed the mid-term acceptance. And get a total of 26.7 million yuan in the allocation of national special funds. Recently, the project was audited according to the stage, and passed the evaluation of the three groups and committees of the project with excellent professional technical level, indicating that the technology has achieved new highs.
Experts at the meeting believed that the field-level multi-band infrared imaging spectrometer developed by the project has achieved breakthrough in the design of the large-field Michelson interferometer and multiple key technologies of the wide-spectrum segmented spectroscopic partition coating, which has improved the field of imaging spectroscopy in China. Independent innovation ability and core competitiveness. At present, the project has achieved phased results in engineering and applied research. It has a wide application prospect in the fields of oil spill monitoring, harmful gas detection, and research on the radiation characteristics of military targets.
The Director of the National Science and Technology Department, Mr. Liu Chunxiao, is full of confidence in the project's industrialization prospects and places high hopes on the acceptance of the project, and wishes the project to pass the acceptance with excellent results. Academician Ye and other experts fully affirmed the completion of the project and the application and development of the instrument. It is expected that the project team will be able to raise the bar on the basis of the medium-term excellence and make instruments with excellent performance and high-tech indicators. CSIC’s Director Wang Junli of the Ministry of Science and Technology pointed out that the project team is committed to producing world-class instruments and focused on engineering and applied research to further verify the instrument's stability and reliability on different platforms such as airborne/shipborne/vehicle mounted. In the field of security, anti-terrorism, environmental protection, scientific research and other applications outside the active development.
It is reported that the project will be completed and accepted in September 2017.
