Agricultural water accounts for about 70% of the country’s total water use, of which more than 90% is used for irrigation. At present, the average irrigation water utilization rate in the country is only 43%, and the unit output of agricultural products is far lower than that of developed At the national level, there is great potential for water conservation. The measurement of farmland moisture and precision irrigation are an integral part of precision agriculture. Through rapid and accurate measurement of soil moisture, the understanding of farmland moisture conditions is not only conducive to the implementation of water-saving irrigation, but also accurate water supply is also conducive to improving crop yield and quality. .

At present, the measurement of moisture mainly adopts the drying and weighing method, which is characterized by accurate measurement and low requirement for equipment. However, the measurement time is long and must be measured in the laboratory, and the soil moisture content cannot be continuously measured online for a long time. It is difficult to meet the measurement requirements of precision agriculture. In addition, the traditional soil moisture measuring instrument generally can only measure the moisture content of the soil, and can not directly measure the position information of the sampling point, and therefore cannot reflect the spatial difference of soil moisture.

To this end, our company has organized Zhejiang University to develop a rapid soil moisture measuring instrument to meet the demand of modern agricultural information measurement of farmland.

Second, the use of instructions

1) Switching machine: Press the "Power" button to boot, LCD displays "TZS-I Moisture Meter / Hangzhou Top Instrument"; press the "Power" button again to shut down.

2) Measurement: Connect the sensor correctly and press the “Measurement” button to measure. The instrument will start the automatic measurement and display the moisture data. LCD display:

Among them, 00:00 is the second timer; Rec:0000 is the number of stored records; 0.0% V/V is the volumetric moisture content.

Note: Due to factors such as temperature, initial system, etc., the moisture value may display 1.0% at startup. Before measuring, press the "Clear" key to return the initial value to 0.0%.

3) Save data: Press the "save" key, the instrument will save the measurement results in memory

4) View the data: Press the "display" key, press "∧" key and "∨" key to page through the data saved in the memory.

5) Clear the data: Press the “display” key first to switch the instrument to the display record state, then press the “clear” key, the system prompts: “Clear all records?, press ∨ confirm!”, at this time, press “∨” key to confirm Clear, press other keys to abandon the clear operation.

6) Help Information: Press "F1" to display company website information.

7) Replacing the battery: The instrument uses 4 AA alkaline batteries. When the battery is low, the instrument will prompt “low voltage” message. Replace the battery in time. When replacing, push the battery cover in the direction of the arrow, and pay attention to the battery direction when installing. Remove the battery when it is not used for a long time.
