With the development of new energy vehicle technology and the promotion of national policies, the development of China's new energy vehicles is in full swing. Since November 2017, there have been three consecutive months of “rushing”. According to the statistics of the Research Department of the Power Battery Application Division, the production of new energy passenger vehicles in January 2018 was 33,626, of which, 19,675 were pure electric passenger cars, accounting for 58.51% of the total, and the plug-in hybrid passenger cars had 13,951 vehicles, accounting for 41.49%.

Judging from the car companies, in January 2018, there were 23 car companies that produced pure electric passenger cars, and there were 3 car companies that grew month-on-month, respectively. Anhui Jianghuai Automobile Co., Ltd. increased by 79.5%, showing a larger growth rate; An increase of 33.33%; Shanghai Automotive increased by 40.56%.

It is not difficult to find from the above figure that Jianghuai Automobile, as the earliest domestic developer of new energy vehicle technology, ranked second in terms of output, but its growth rate was very bright. So, why did JAC's production growth in the chain show outstanding performance? From the following two points for everyone's analysis:

Jianghuai IEV6E outstanding performance

As the first pure electric mini vehicle of JAC, IEV6E produced 23328 vehicles in 2017, accounting for 85.16% of the total production of all models of JAC. In January 2018, it produced 2478 vehicles, an increase of 210.92% compared to the previous period; , high quality and beautiful appearance won the recognition of the market.

Energy density crisis

In 2017, Jianghuai Automobile launched 16 models of pure electric passenger vehicles in the “Catalogue of Recommended Vehicles for Promotion and Application of New Energy Vehicles”. Among them, 8 models with an energy density of less than 105 wh/kg have A0 class vehicles. The supporting power battery is Guoxuan High-tech lithium iron phosphate battery has a cruising range of 156-180km; there are 2 models with an energy density of 105-120wh/kg, one is a Class A vehicle, and the other is Huajing Power's lithium iron phosphate battery. The cruising range is 310km; the other is the A0 class car, which is equipped with a three-way lithium battery of Huasheng Power, with a cruising range of 170km; there are 6 models with an energy density of 120-140wh/kg, of which 2 are A0. Grade cars, 3 for the B-class car, 1 for the D-class car, supporting the power battery are all Huasheng Power ternary lithium battery, cruising range between 280-400km.

According to the new subsidy standard in 2018, the subsidy for mini-vehicles was greatly frustrated, and the subsidy amount for all models of pure electric passenger vehicles with cruising range under 300km was reduced. However, if the cruising range is above 300km, the system energy density is more than 140wh/kg. The subsidy for electric passenger cars is rising. This means that if you want to obtain a 1.1-fold or more high subsidy, the cruising range will be above 300km, and the supporting system energy density above 140wh/kg will become a rigid indicator, while the JAC vehicles that meet the above criteria will be zero, good for 2018. The period from February 12 to June 11 is a transitional period. Obviously, only “preparation” can obtain the corresponding subsidies.

On the whole, since the development of lithium iron phosphate battery has reached the bottleneck period, pure electric passenger cars want to match the system power density is more than 140wh/kg power battery is basically a three yuan battery, which also means that the energy density is required At the same time, Sanyuan Battery will also expand its market share in the new energy passenger vehicle market. In medium-to-large-sized new energy passenger vehicles, the mileage requirement is longer. During a period of time, Sanyuan Battery will dominate the market.
