Yiwu City, Zhejiang Province, launched a special investigation of the purchase of grain dryers

In the grain harvesting season in 2009, it suffered from continuous rain and disastrous weather, which resulted in mildew and germinating of grain. The large grain producers suffered heavy losses. Affected by this, there has been an upsurge in the purchase of grain dryers in Yiwu City this year, and 18 farmers (cooperatives) have submitted purchase applications for 22 units. According to the principle of quantity control, optimization of structure, and tilting to the grain functional area, Yiwu City Agricultural Machinery Management Station carried out a special investigation on the purchase of grain dryers. The main contents of the event: First, organize the town (street) farmer, purchase household representatives to go to Shaoxing, Huzhou field inspection of the use of grain dryers to increase emotional perception. The second is to conduct on-site visits to 18 purchasers in the city to understand the purchase contractor's (service) area, drying area, funds, and drying of airport sites, and to guide farmers to purchase grain dryers correctly and reasonably. The third is to formulate development plans. According to the requirements of agricultural development, combined with the actual grain production in Yiwu, a three-year plan for the development of grain dryers was formulated.
