Dalian COSCO Shipyard completed the overall lifting of P-63 power module generator set

Recently, Dalian COSCO Shipyard successfully completed the lifting of the last two units at the prefabricated site under the power module of the Brazilian QUIP P-63 project.
The two units hoisted were diesel units (weight 320 tons, length 14184mm, width 4740mm, height 6843mm, power 18 MW) and generator set (weight 68 tons, length 5280mm, width 4875mm, height 4200 mm), members of the project team Under the careful planning, the two units were smoothly hoisted to the M91 module and completed. The QUIP, Wärtsilä and BP shipowners were very satisfied with the orderly progress of the project.
The P-63 module is the first offshore engineering project of Dalian COSCO Shipyard to independently undertake QUIP (the first offshore company in Brazil with the capability of offshore EPC). The project includes 16 modules, of which 3 power modules are the key. Partly, after the completion of the construction, it will be hoisted to the company's FPSO conversion project "Nissa".
