One day in April 2010, a college student who volunteered in Sichuan made a message on QQ and once again struck his heart. Li Yang resolutely resigned from his family’s opposition and the retention of his colleagues in the unit, and squandered an amount of 8,000 yuan in wages for the past year and went to Sichuan after the disaster.
On April 19, 2010, Li Yang arrived at Daping Village, Tongji Town, Pengzhou City, Sichuan Province, a small village of more than 300 people scattered in the mountains.

In August 2010, Li Yang officially became a full-time project assistant for the Beijing Global Village Environmental Education Center due to the recognition of volunteer performance. In this way, he has a living allowance of several hundred yuan each month.

In November of that year, Li Yang and others "fought" in Wuxi County, Chongqing. Wuxi County wrote the "Luohe Homeland" into the "12th Five-Year Plan". In the following year, Li Yang was responsible for propaganda work in the “Lehe Home†construction office established in cooperation with the local government. At the end of last year, Li Yang took 173 video recordings for a total of more than 10,000 minutes and completed the production of five feature films.
Now, Li Yang has become a full-time administrator of a public interest organization in Linyi, which has a monthly income of nearly 2,000 yuan. The main job is to help the disabled, help students, and help the poor. "If the public interest is done for a long time, it will be addictive.
