Jiangsu Jingya full liquid water-cooled screw chiller developed successfully

Recently, the full-liquid water-cooled screw chiller developed by Jiangsu Jingya Group has successfully passed the rigorous testing conducted by the National Compressor Refrigeration Equipment Quality Supervision and Inspection Center. This achievement marks a significant breakthrough in the company's R&D efforts in central air-conditioning systems, showcasing its growing technological capability and competitive edge in the industry. In recent years, full-liquid water-cooled screw chillers have gained widespread attention due to their high cooling capacity, excellent energy efficiency ratio, ease of maintenance, and energy-saving performance—especially in sectors like textiles. However, these systems have long faced technical challenges, including oil-gas separation, oil return control, liquid supply management, and liquid level regulation. These complexities have been dominated by a few large foreign manufacturers, who have held a strong grip on the market for years. Faced with these challenges, Jiangyu Group embraced innovation and focused on specialization, strengthening its core competencies in air engineering. Through extensive research, deep market analysis, and numerous experiments, the company assembled a dedicated R&D team to tackle these complex issues. After two years of persistent effort, they overcame multiple technical barriers and successfully brought the product to market. The full-liquid water-cooled screw chiller developed by Jingya now fully meets all target specifications. A prototype with a cooling capacity of 305 kW was tested at the Hefei General GM National Testing Center, and all performance metrics met national standards. Notably, the coefficient of performance (COP) reached an impressive 5.32 W/W, surpassing the national standard requirement of 5.00 W/W for Level 1 energy efficiency. At the 2005 Annual Conference on Heating, HVAC, and Refrigeration in Jiangsu Province, Jingya held a technical promotion event for the full-liquid water-cooled screw chiller. The company showcased its prototypes at the conference, receiving high praise from industry experts and peers alike. This recognition further solidifies Jingya’s position as a key player in the development of advanced refrigeration technology.
