Vertical Lathe Safety Technology Operational Procedures

The "General Rules" for safe metalworking technology must be observed.

When working with jacks, beveled horns and pads, they must be firmly fixed and observed at any time to prevent loosening. When several pieces of horns are stacked, they must be connected to each other.

Tool holders that are not used temporarily must be returned to their original positions.

When loading and unloading the workpiece, the human body and the rotating body must maintain a certain distance. Workpieces are clamped without clamping; only inching correction is possible. It is forbidden to stand on the rotating worktable to adjust the work piece and machine tool, and it is even more forbidden to stand on the work plate to operate the button.

When cutting multiple workpieces consecutively with the same blank, guards must be provided around the chuck.

When machining workpieces that exceed the chuck diameter, appropriate measures must be taken to avoid collisions with the column, beam or table.

When processing heavy workpieces, add weights to keep the chucks balanced.

When it is found that the workpiece is loose, the machine is running abnormally, and the feed is excessive, stop and adjust immediately.

When the workpiece needs to be observed and measured at a high elevation, the height-increasing ramp must be of reasonable structure, easy to operate, and safe and reliable. Do not use unsafe springboard operation.

The workplace should be tidy and no objects should be stacked.
