Hickory Hills house fire: Roberts Park FPD 12-26-12

I just got back from responding to the fire at Roberts Park. It happened at 9016 Christina Drive in Hickory Hills, Illinois, zip code 60457. When I arrived, it was already under control—about 20 minutes after the first responders had been dispatched. The flames were out by the time I got there, but I managed to snap a few photos while I was there. Mutual aid came in from several nearby departments, including North Palos, Bridgeview, Oak Lawn, Chicago Ridge, and Evergreen Park. It was quite the collaborative effort! I’ll upload more pictures to my website soon so everyone can see what went down. Here’s one of the images I took. You can also spot the Hickory Hills police car that was parked nearby to block off the road during the chaos. I also snapped a few shots of some of the emergency vehicles on the scene.
