Loaner engine for Elk Grove Township – update

Bill Friedrich shared an image of the fire engine currently in use by the Elk Grove Township Fire Department. This particular vehicle was previously owned by the Galesburg Fire Department.
In his own words, Friedrich explained, "I captured a picture of the temporary engine that Elk Grove Township is utilizing while their Spartan/Alexis engine undergoes repairs. This loaner engine is actually X-Galesburg FD Engine 52." He even included a photograph of the rig during its time with the Galesburg Fire Department.
Attached to the post were two images. The first showed the Elk Grove Township Fire District's current operational engine, which is the former Galesburg Fire Department Engine 52. Bill Friedrich captured this shot, highlighting the department’s temporary solution while their primary engine is being serviced.
