Hi everyone, I recently came across some fascinating photos taken during a 5-11 special call on October 10, 1971. The fire started around 11:15 AM at 430 North Damen Avenue. From what I can gather, it looked like a structure fire involving something like a storage area filled with pallets or lumber. In the last photo, you can see Engine 14 responding to the scene. I thought these images were worth sharing—hope you enjoy them as much as I do!
