Our hard chrome piston rods are manufactured using high-quality JIS S45C material, ensuring superior performance. The process begins with precision machining followed by surface chromium treatment, achieving a surface finish of f7 and a hardness of at least HV800. This enhances wear resistance and significantly extends the service life of the rod, offering long-term cost savings for our customers.

Corrosion resistance is tested in our internal salt spray laboratory. The surface undergoes heat treatment to reach HRC55°±2°, with a hardened depth ranging between 0.5mm and 3mm. After that, the rods go through precision milling and hard chrome plating, with a coating thickness of 20 microns ±10%, further improving wear resistance and durability.

1. Chrome Plated Steel Bars:

These bars are made from medium carbon cold-finished or hot-rolled steel, typically grade 1045. They are centerless ground, polished, and chrome-plated to a minimum thickness of 0.0005", with 0.001" per side. These are ideal for most hydraulic and pneumatic cylinder piston rod applications.

2. Induction Hardened Chrome Plated Bars:

Produced using advanced techniques on JIS S45C, SAE1045, or DIN CK45 steel rods, these bars are surface-treated, polished, induction-hardened, and then chrome-plated. The final product provides excellent impact resistance, making them suitable for demanding environments.

3. Cold Drawn Seamless Mechanical Tubing (CDS):

Cold drawn 1020 steel tubing offers improved physical properties, tighter tolerances, better machinability, and enhanced strength compared to hot-finished tubes. It is widely used in hydraulic cylinders, automotive parts, and industrial equipment.
