New platform aerial for the Sterling Fire Department (more)

This weekend marked a bittersweet moment as we said farewell to our current Truck 9, a 2007 KME AerialCat tower ladder, which is now heading to its new home with the City of Sterling Fire Department in Illinois. It’s been a loyal and dependable part of our team over the years, and we’re grateful for all the service it provided.

We're excited to announce that our new Truck 9 is already on order and will be a brand-new Pierce Velocity aerial ladder truck. We’re looking forward to welcoming it later this year, and it’s going to bring some fresh energy and modern capabilities to our department.

As always, thanks to everyone who supports us and keeps our community safe. Stay tuned for more updates!
