A working fire occurred on October 28, 2020, at 10626 S. Calhoun. Units responding included Engines 81 and 74, Trucks 17, 61, and 62, as well as Battalions 24, 23, and 22.
Notable updates include the new battalion buggy, the newly delivered Truck 17, and the newer models of Engines 81 and 74.
It’s always interesting to see how the Chicago Fire Department updates its fleet and equipment. The addition of new apparatus like Truck 17 and the modernized engines shows their ongoing commitment to safety and efficiency.
