Domestic single set of the largest international most advanced technology, annual output of 30,000 tons of melamine plant put into operation

On September 15, China's Zhongyuan Dahua Group Co., Ltd. from Henan Province achieved a major milestone as its largest single melamine production facility, with an annual output of 30,000 tons, successfully passed its trial run and produced high-quality melamine. This advanced plant is equipped with the most cutting-edge technology available globally and represents one of the few economically viable large-scale melamine production units worldwide. As of now, the company's total melamine production capacity has exceeded 60,000 tons annually, making up one-fifth of China's actual domestic output and placing it among the top four producers globally. The new melamine plant, along with its配套 140,000-ton urea project, required a total investment of 500 million yuan. It utilizes high-pressure production technology developed by the U.S.-based Joint Signal Company. This is the third melamine unit launched by Zhongyuan Dahua in 2000. In 2002, the company built two additional melamine facilities, each with an annual output of 15,000 tons, also using the high-pressure method from United Signal. These were the first such installations introduced domestically, marking a significant technological advancement for the company. Over the years, Zhongyuan Dahua has gained extensive operational experience and successfully resolved numerous technical challenges. Notably, its earlier two units have the longest operating cycles among similar-sized domestic facilities, often running for over 260 days per year. The melamine produced by the company is oil-free, sulfur-free, and contains low levels of iron ions, achieving a purity of 99.99%, meeting international quality standards. Experts have noted that the newly commissioned unit at Zhongyuan Dahua is currently the most cost-effective and efficient melamine production facility in China. It employs the world’s most advanced reactor design, streamlining the production process. Additionally, the plant uses state-of-the-art ultrafiltration membrane technology, ensuring that all wastewater, waste gas, and solid waste are recycled. This makes the production process "three-waste-free," a first in the country and a model for sustainable manufacturing in the industry.
