Shanghai Fleetard Party Committee held the first working meeting after the change of party branch

On March 14, the Party Committee of Shanghai Fleetguard Company convened its first party branch work conference following the recent re-election of branch members. The meeting was an opportunity to congratulate the newly elected members and to outline key priorities for the year ahead. The session covered the main points of the Dongfeng Components Party Committee’s work in the first quarter of 2008, while also setting the strategic direction for Shanghai Fleetguard’s Party Committee activities throughout the year. Wu Chongyu, a member of the Party Committee, emphasized that the successful re-election of the party branch marked a new phase in its operations. He highlighted that the newly elected members now face a range of important tasks, including: First, developing a comprehensive annual work plan for the party branch to ensure structured and effective operations. Second, the new members are encouraged to study the "Regulations on the Work of the Party Branch" issued by Dongfeng Company, as well as gain a deeper understanding of party affairs to enhance their professional capabilities. Third, implementing the spirit of documents from Dongfeng Corporation and conducting education sessions on the company's goals and current situation. Fourth, cooperating with the Party Committee to organize democratic life meetings and actively collect feedback from all levels of the committee. Fifth, launching the "Dual-Foundation Contests," where each party branch must develop specific projects to support this initiative. Sixth, organizing standard-compliant party branch activities, aligning with the guidelines issued by the Dongfeng Components Party Committee, and formulating appropriate standards and measures for each branch. During the meeting, the Party Committee reviewed the progress of the current month’s work plans for both the party and the group. Out of 10 planned projects, four have been completed, with several others still in the implementation stage. Wu Chongyu noted that despite the busy production and management schedule, all branches have managed to carry out meaningful party member activities and maintain proper records. He stressed that achieving party branch standards is a top priority this year, and branch secretaries must pay close attention to it. In addition, the Party Committee will conduct quarterly assessments of party branch activities, rewarding those that meet or exceed expectations and providing constructive criticism to those that fall short. This approach aims to promote continuous improvement and ensure high-quality party work across the organization.
