Shanghai Fleetard Party Committee held the first working meeting after the change of party branch

On March 14, the Party Committee of Shanghai Fleetguard Company convened its first party branch work meeting following the recent re-election of the branch committee. The event was marked by a warm celebration for the newly elected members, who were encouraged to take on their new responsibilities with dedication and commitment. During the meeting, key priorities from the Dongfeng Components Party Committee’s first-quarter 2008 agenda were reviewed, and the Shanghai Fleetguard Party Committee outlined its main goals for the year. Wu Chongyu, a member of the Party Committee, emphasized that the successful re-election of the branch committee marks a new beginning. He pointed out that the newly elected members now face a range of important tasks, including: First, developing a comprehensive annual work plan for the branch to ensure structured and effective operations. Second, ensuring all new members thoroughly study the "Regulations on the Work of the Party Branch" issued by Dongfeng, as well as gain a deeper understanding of party affairs to continuously improve the quality of their work. Third, implementing the spirit of documents issued by Dongfeng Corporation and conducting education sessions on current goals and situations to align the branch with broader organizational objectives. Fourth, collaborating with the Party Committee to organize a democratic life meeting and actively collect feedback from party members to enhance internal communication and transparency. Fifth, launching the "Dual-Foundation Contests," where each party branch is expected to develop specific projects aimed at strengthening its foundation and performance. Sixth, organizing standardized party branch activities in accordance with guidelines set by the Dongfeng Components Party Committee. Each branch should create its own standards and practical measures to ensure compliance and effectiveness. The meeting also included a review of the current month's implementation of the Party and group work plans. Out of 10 planned projects, four had been completed, while others were still in progress. Wu Chongyu commended the branches for managing both their production and management duties alongside their party work, noting that they have made time to conduct meaningful party member activities and properly document them. He further stressed that this year's focus will be on improving the standardization of party branch work. Party branch secretaries must pay close attention to this initiative. In line with this, the Party Committee will conduct quarterly assessments of branch activities, publicly recognizing those that perform well and offering constructive criticism to those that fall short. This approach aims to drive continuous improvement and maintain high standards across all party branches.
